avenue is dedicated to the memory of Lluís Companys, President of
the Generalitat de Catalunya between 1933 and 1939, who was executed
by the Franco regime in the trenches of Montjuïc
are grassed areas, palm trees and modernist street lamps along this
avenue. At the end of the avenue, next to the Parc
de la Ciutadella, is the monolith
to Francesc Rius i Taulet, mayor of Barcelona and promoter
of the 1888 Fair, designed by Pere Falqués and Manuel Fluxà (1901).

Companys are the statue dedicated to Roger
de Llúria, the well-known Catalan navigator, which was
sculpted by Josep Reynès in 1885, and the statue in memory of Antoni
Viladomat (an 18th century Catalan painter), by Torquat
the left of the Arc de Triomf
the architectural monuments included in the 1888 fair are preserved.

de Justicia (courthouse), by Enric Sagnier and Domènec
i Estapà .
